Basketball Game Preview: Osceola Indians vs. Drexel Bobcats

The Osceola Indians will head out on the road to take on the Drexel Bobcats at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Osceola is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Rich Hill.

Meanwhile, Drexel waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 win over the Eagles.

Drexel's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Osceola, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.

Osceola didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Drexel when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 39-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Osceola since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
