Basketball Game Preview: Dansville Mustangs vs. Addison Knights

The Dansville Mustangs will square off against the Addison Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Dansville will be strutting in after a victory while Addison will be coming in after a loss.

If Dansville beats Addison with 45 points on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Dansville enjoyed a cozy 45-31 win over Haverling on Friday. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly 14 points.

Meanwhile, Addison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 57-33 to Andover. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while the Panthers are ranked 230th).

Addison's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Dansville, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Everything came up roses for Dansville against Addison when the teams last played on January 2nd, as the squad secured a 56-24 victory. Will Dansville repeat their success, or does Addison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
