Volleyball Recap: Lake Catholic Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Lake Catholic barely beat Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.

Lake Catholic found their leader in sophomore Lola Loncar, who had 21 digs and four aces.

Lake Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Lake Catholic pushed their record up to 2-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lake Catholic is set to take on their familiar foe Beaumont School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will face off against rival Holy Name at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
