After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Pass Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Poplarville Hornets by a score of 4-1. The game was the first time the Pirates have beaten the Hornets on their field since March 27, 2015.

The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Poplarville has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
