John Hay has no trouble against John Marshall

John Hay have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season. They blew past John Marshall 45-20. The win was familiar territory for John Hay who now have three in a row.

Tylia Parker was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of John Hay's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anaiyah General, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.

John Hay's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.67 points. As for John Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

John Hay will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Max S. Hayes at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Max S. Hayes will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 713th, while John Hay is ranked 329th). As for John Marshall, they will head out on the road to face off against Twinsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
