East Rowan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northwest Cabarrus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. East Rowan will square off against Northwest Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. East Rowan will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
On Friday, East Rowan earned a 10-6 victory over Concord.
Harrison Ailshie and Zeke Stewart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Ailshie tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Stewart pitched four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Ailshie has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in nine consecutive appearances. At bat, Ailshie scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5, while Stewart scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those two runs gave Stewart a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Andrew Myrick looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan Bradley, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
East Rowan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Concord only managed six hits.
Meanwhile, Northwest Cabarrus came into Friday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Central Cabarrus get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Friday.
Cooper Greene was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Northwest Cabarrus is 2-1 when Greene allowsone or fewer hits, but 1-11 otherwise. Greene was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Michael Cagiano was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.
East Rowan's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-12.
Northwest Cabarrus' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East Rowan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. It's a different story for Northwest Cabarrus, though, as they've only averaged .329. Will they be able to contain East Rowan's hitters?
East Rowan took their win against Northwest Cabarrus in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 13-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Rowan since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
