Volleyball Recap: Del Sol Finds Home Court Redemption Against Amplus Academy

There's no place like home for Del Sol, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Amplus Academy Archers on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Archers: they've now won six in a row.

Del Sol had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.

Jaeden Alexander paced Del Sol's offense, picking up 11 kills. Alexander got some help from Tracy Mcfarland and his 12 assists. Mcfarland was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Del Sol's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12. As for Amplus Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
