Recap: Blair Bears vs. Ralston Rams
The Blair Bears won against the Ralston Rams on Thursday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Blair blew past Ralston 65-14 on the road. With Blair ahead 47-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Blair's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addie Sullivan, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gueryn Kay, who scored 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Blair and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Ralston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blair will take on Waverly at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waverly presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Blair in Nebraska (Waverly is ranked second, while Blair is ranked 55th). As for Ralston, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nebraska City at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Nebraska City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 on Thursday.
