Softball Recap: Brady Comes Up Short

Brady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Florence Buffaloes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 14-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Emory Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Brady's record now sits at 4-7. As for Florence, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

While Brady had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
