Basketball Recap: American Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

American Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Awaken Christian Lions 85-27. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly 58 points.

Awaken Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jadon Kenney led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards. That's the most points Kenney has posted since back in February of 2024. Ethan Kepler was another key player, going 8 of 12 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds.

American Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Awaken Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

American Heritage Academy has already played their next game (against Trinity International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Awaken Christian has already played their next matchup, a 61-42 defeat against Needles on the 31st.
