It was a good run, but Northview unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 91-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lima Senior Spartans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Northview's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-3. As for Lima Senior, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Northview and Lima Senior should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Northview (ranked 15th) will meet Union (ranked 544th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. Meanwhile, Lima Senior will face off against Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 298 places (43 vs. 341).
