Recap: Dubois vs. Burlington

After losing to the Burlington Huskies the last time they met, the Dubois Rams decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Dubois walked away with a 61-51 win on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for them, who now have three in a row.

The Rams found their leader in underclassman sophomore Max Claar, who posted a double-double on 28 points and 16 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Claar has had at least 11 rebounds.

Dubois' victory brought them up to 10-11. This is the second loss in a row for Burlington and nudges their record down to 7-11.

Dubois will take on Midwest Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Dubois has to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one. As for Burlington, they will go up against St. Stephens Friday. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, the Huskies now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
