Leroy turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the Leroy Bears, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They skirted past Citronelle 47-44. This was payback for Leroy, who suffered a 64-53 loss the last time these two teams met.

Taylor Crumedy was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Malik Howell was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.

Leroy pushed their record up to 6-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Citronelle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Leroy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Citronelle will be playing in front of their home fans against Robertsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
