Baseball Recap: Platteville Takes a Loss

Platteville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Prescott Cardinals, falling 13-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Saturday.

Platteville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Prescott, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Platteville will venture away from home to square off against Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prescott, they will challenge Ellsworth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
