Softball Recap: Tenafly Comes Up Short

Tenafly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bergenfield Bears, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on April 7th.

Tenafly's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Bergenfield, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bears beat Tenafly by a score of 17-4 later that day.
