Yorkville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Oswego Panthers by a score of 16-6. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Foxes were the (much) better team in the second half.

Yorkville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Beetham, who rushed for 27 yards and one score, and also threw for 85 yards and one TD. The Foxes also got a significant boost from T.J. Harland, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 119 yards.

Yorkville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Hendershott and Dillon Viscogliosi. Viscogliosi has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last three times he's played.

Yorkville's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Oswego, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Yorkville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 35-19 victory against Plainfield South on the 3rd. As for Oswego, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-6 win against Joliet West on the 3rd.
