Football Recap: West Brook Comes Up Short

If West Brook was riding high fresh off their 37-7 takedown of Sterling last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins lost 41-18 to the Port Arthur Memorial Titans on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Titans are ranked 41st).

West Brook's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Port Arthur Memorial, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
