Softball Recap: Bishop Grimes Comes Up Short

Bishop Grimes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-5 to the Tully Black Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-1 defeat on May 2nd.

Rainbow Butler was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Luella Kiefer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Bishop Grimes' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tully, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-8.

As of now, neither Bishop Grimes nor the Black Knights have any future games scheduled.
