Softball Recap: Silas Rams vs. Lincoln Abes        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Silas gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  16-6 margin over the Lincoln Abes. Winning may never get old, but Silas sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
  Natalie Medalia made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Medalia has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Medalia was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news,  Desi Bass was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Joleen Libhart, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 On Lincoln's side,  Tufa Tusi was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Joy Wilde was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Silas is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record  this season. As for Lincoln, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-9.
 Silas will head out on the road to  take on  Mount Tahoma at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Silas is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakes at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lincoln is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game  this season.
