Softball Recap: Rigby Comes Up Short

Rigby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to the Thunder Ridge Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 on Tuesday.

Rigby saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Bishop, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Rigby now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Thunder Ridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Rigby will face off against Pocatello at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunder have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Thunder Ridge, they will square off against Highland at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
