Soccer Recap: Henrico Takes a Loss

Henrico lost against Hanover back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Hawks, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Henrico can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 268th, while Hanover are ranked 65th).

Henrico has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Hanover, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Henrico is set to square off against their familiar foe Varina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hanover will face off against rival Mechanicsville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
