North Creek won the last time they faced Newport - Bellevue and things went their way on Friday too. The North Creek Jaguars took down the Newport - Bellevue Knights 68-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

North Creek's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seirat Bhullar led the charge by putting up 19 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Jocelyn Tamayo was another key player, going 7 of 15 en route to 20 points.

Despite the loss, Newport - Bellevue still got an impressive performance from Portia Polo, who went 10 for 19 on her way to 23 points and three steals. That was a full 44.2% of Newport - Bellevue's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elie De Leon, who had seven points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.

North Creek's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Newport - Bellevue, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
