Baseball Recap: Washington Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Washington and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Washington had to settle for second. They lost 11-5 to the Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-2 loss two weeks ago.

Alex Pon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Andrew Kim, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Washington's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-18. As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.

As of now, neither Washington nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
