Volleyball Recap: Bardstown Tigers vs. Washington County Commanders

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin County, Bardstown was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Washington County Commanders by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played on October 3rd.

Bardstown got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-23, 32-30.

Bardstown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zya Sisson out in front who had 11 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Sisson a new career-high.

The victory got Bardstown back to even at 14-14. As for Washington County, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Bardstown has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Bethlehem on the 23rd. Washington County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
