Baseball Recap: Alameda Takes a Loss

Alameda was the 4-3 winner over Piedmont when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell 5-1 to the Highlanders on Wednesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alameda's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Piedmont, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

While Alameda had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
