Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia managed to slip by Firelands the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders lost 11-1 to the Falcons on Friday. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Columbia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Duley, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Firelands, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Coming up, Columbia will host Garrett Morgan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Firelands, they will venture away from home to challenge Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
