CSTHEA is still winless after their contest against Tri-Cities Christian on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagles. On the bright side, the 52- point performance marked the Patriots' highest-scoring game to date.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thomas Long, who picked up 54 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 32 yards and one score. Another signal caller making a difference was Lucas Adams, who threw for 104 yards and a pair of TDs.

CSTHEA's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tri-Cities Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CSTHEA will challenge South Haven Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. CSTHEA will need to watch out since South Haven Christian has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they will take on Christian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
