Softball Recap: Peru Tigers vs. Mississinewa Indians
Peru lost to Mississinewa back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Indians, falling 21-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Peru saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Steele, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mississinewa, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Looking ahead, Peru will host Caston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mississinewa, they will venture away from home to challenge Bellmont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
