Softball Recap: Wabash Apaches vs. Elwood Panthers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rochester, Wabash was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Elwood Panthers 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Apaches have posted since April 26th.

Kalli Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
