Soccer Recap: Rutherford Takes a Loss

Rutherford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bay Tornadoes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bay this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in November of 2025.

Rutherford now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rutherford will head out to square off against Gadsden County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bay, they will venture away from home to face off against Niceville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bay's defense better be ready for this one: Niceville have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
