Softball Recap: Hamilton Township Takes a Loss

Hamilton Township fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Marion Harding on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Presidents by a score of 8-7. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grace Fannin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. K McKnight was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Hamilton Township's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Marion Harding, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15.

While Hamilton Township had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
