Gilbert took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Skyline 43-21. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Gilbert's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcus Ronquillo led the charge by rushing for 154 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
