Archbishop Stepinac has gone 8-2 against Fordham Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 2:45 p.m. Archbishop Stepinac will be strutting in after a win while Fordham Prep will be coming in after a defeat.

Archbishop Stepinac is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Cardinal Hayes get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Fordham Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Peter's.

Matt Herlick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Fordham Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Archbishop Stepinac, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Archbishop Stepinac couldn't quite get it done against Fordham Prep in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 5-0. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
