Basketball Recap: Alexavier Saunders Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Kennedy

Poolesville hadn't done well against Kennedy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Poolesville Falcons came out on top against the Kennedy Cavaliers by a score of 70-57. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

Poolesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alexavier Saunders led the charge by going 12 for 21 en route to 33 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Saunders has scored at least a third of Poolesville's points.
