Softball Recap: Burley's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Burley was the 4-1 winner over Preston when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Wednesday. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Burley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylin Beck, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Beck is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games she's played.

Burley's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Preston, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Burley has already played their next match, a 17-6 victory against Canyon Ridge on the 22nd. As for Preston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 30-11 win against Snake River on the 18th.
