Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Nazareth Academy

Nazareth Academy lost to Archbishop Wood back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Nazareth Academy skirted past Archbishop Wood 7-6. The victory was just business as usual for Nazareth Academy, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Gracie Keller was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Alaira Rios was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Keller wasn't the only one making solid contact: Nazareth Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Nazareth Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Archbishop Wood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Nazareth Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-2 loss against Cardinal O'Hara on the 3rd. As for Archbishop Wood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Villa Joseph Marie on the 2nd.
