Soccer Recap: Myrtle Beach Comes Up Short

Myrtle Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the St. James Sharks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against St. James this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-1 back in March.

Myrtle Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for St. James, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Myrtle Beach will take on Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. James, they will challenge North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Myrtle Beach will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
