Volleyball Recap: Acadiana Home School Athletics Finds Playoff Glory Versus NELA Christian Homeschool

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Acadiana Home School Athletics had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the NELA Christian Homeschool Flame. The victory was nothing new for the Commandos as they're now sitting on five straight.

It was another big night for Leo Mader, who had 22 kills, 16 digs, and two aces. That's the most digs he has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Elijah Chopin, who had six digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Acadiana Home School Athletics was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 19 consecutive contests.

Acadiana Home School Athletics' record is now 15-6. As for NELA Christian Homeschool, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.

As of now, neither Acadiana Home School Athletics nor the Flame have any future games scheduled.
