Football Recap: Lebanon Tigers vs. Pendleton Heights Arabians
Lebanon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pendleton Heights Arabians on Friday. The Tigers were down 22-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Pendleton Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandt Gray out in front who rushed for 49 yards and one TD, and also threw for 146 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. Those 49 rushing yards gave Gray a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Joel Weaver, who rushed for 75 yards and one score.
Coming up, Lebanon will take on Western Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pendleton Heights, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Guerin Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
