Temple Christian Academy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Redeemer Christian Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Temple Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Berean Christian Academy 105-53 at home. Temple Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Troy Jenkins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 52 points and 19 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Cameron Carpenter was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 25 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Redeemer Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Warriors on Monday, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Redeemer Christian.
Davis Lehman went supernova for Redeemer Christian, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. Lehman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Beau Suarez, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Temple Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Redeemer Christian, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Temple Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 62.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Redeemer Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 36.9 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

The rematch might be a little tougher for Temple Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
