Volleyball Recap: Wiscasset Victorious

The Wiscasset Wolverines were able to grind out a solid win over the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers on Monday, taking the game 3-1.

Wiscasset had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 27-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Wiscasset's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North Yarmouth Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Wiscasset will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against George Stevens Academy at 5:00 p.m. on October 3. As for North Yarmouth Academy, they will head out to face off against Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
