Baseball Recap: Center Point-Urbana Takes a Loss

Center Point-Urbana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 6-1 to the Wahlert Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stormin' Pointers of the 9-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Center Point-Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Wahlert, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Coming up, Center Point-Urbana will welcome Western Dubuque on Friday. As for Wahlert, they will head out on the road to challenge Clinton on Friday.
