Baseball Recap: Sam Rayburn Takes a Loss

Sam Rayburn lost against Collinsville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rebels lost 9-1 to the Pirates. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sam Rayburn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clay Caldwell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Sam Rayburn's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Collinsville, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
