Baseball Game Preview: Woodburn Bulldogs vs. Crescent Valley Raiders

For the second straight game, Woodburn will face off against Crescent Valley. The Bulldogs will take on the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodburn has now lost 17 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 5.

Woodburn lost 15-1 to Crescent Valley on Wednesday.

Woodburn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avie Quintero, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Quintero has hit this season.

Crescent Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Woodburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-20.
