Softball Recap: Pecos Takes a Loss

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Pecos was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Littlefield Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 last Friday.

Pecos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Villalobos, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Pecos' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Littlefield, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Pecos will head out on the road to take on Sundown at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Roughnecks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Littlefield, they will head out to face off against Seminole at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
