Volleyball Recap: Columbia City's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Columbia City hadn't done well against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Eagles came out on top against the Braves by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23.

Liz Blackburn paced Columbia City's offense, picking up 19 kills. Blackburn got some help from Sophia Van Buskirk and her 36 assists. Gabby Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
