Basketball Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 42-34 to the Wayland Warriors. The matchup was a 19-19 toss-up at halftime, but the Blackhawks couldn't quite close it out.

Bellingham's record is now 0-5. As for Wayland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bellingham will finish 2024 at home by hosting Wellesley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bellingham is facing Wellesley at the right time seeing as Wellesley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Wayland and Hopedale will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopedale will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wayland surely won't give up without a fight.
