Baseball Game Preview: Bangs Dragons vs. Winters Blizzards

For the second straight game, Bangs will face off against Winters. The Dragons will be playing at home against the Blizzards at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Bangs beat Winters 6-3. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Blizzards: they've now won seven in a row.

Trapper Estess spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Connor Bible, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Bangs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Rex Guerrero, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Winters is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6. As for Bangs, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
