Baseball Recap: Arcadia Redskins vs. Seneca East Tigers
Arcadia had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 7-15 to make it five. They lost 7-1 to the Seneca East Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redskins of the 6-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Arcadia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Nusser, who went 2-for-4 with one double.
As for Seneca East, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-13 record. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24th (when they won 13-3).
On Seneca East's side, Gunner Polachek was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Branson Finnell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcadia will challenge Arlington at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seneca East, they will take on Margaretta at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
