Baseball Recap: Washington Township Takes a Loss

Washington Township was the 6-5 winner over Williamstown when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Minutemen fell just short of the Braves by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington Township saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giovanni Christinzio, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Andrew Robinson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Washington Township's loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Washington Township will take on Kingsway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Williamstown, they will face off against Cherry Hill East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
